Government of Balochistan Jobs 2026 – Green Balochistan Initiative (GBI) Project

The Government of Balochistan under the Green Balochistan Initiative has announced multiple project-based vacancies for Pakistani nationals. The advertisement has been issued through the Directorate General Public Relations Balochistan.

Applications are invited from qualified and experienced candidates for various technical and support positions under Project Pay Scale (PPS-01 to PPS-08). All positions are purely project-based.

• Deputy Project Director (PPS-08)
• Assistant Project Engineer / M&E Officer (PPS-07)
• Site Engineer (Agriculture / PHE / Hydro Geologist / Electrical Engineer) – Contract/Contingent (PPS-07)
• Sub Engineer / Site Supervisor (PPS-04)
• Topographic Surveyor (PPS-04)
• Assistant Surveyor (PPS-04)
• Driver (Contract/Contingent) (PPS-01)
• Security Guard (PPS-01)
• Sweeper (Contract/Contingent) (PPS-01)

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Deputy Project Director (PPS-08)

• Engineering Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Agriculture
• Registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) as Professional Engineer
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including large-scale public sector development projects in water/agriculture/OFWM sector

Assistant Project Engineer / M&E Officer (PPS-07)

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Agriculture / Electrical Engineering Technology or relevant field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in project engineering or construction management

Site Engineer (PPS-07)

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Agriculture / Electrical Engineering or related field
• 2–4 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of groundwater regulations and irrigation/agriculture project management preferred

Sub Engineer / Site Supervisor (PPS-04)

• DAE / Diploma / Degree in Civil / Agriculture / Electrical Engineering or related field
• Relevant experience in construction and site supervision

Topographic Surveyor (PPS-04)

• DAE / Degree / Diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or related field
• Experience in topographic surveying and use of Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD, GIS

Assistant Surveyor (PPS-04)

• Diploma / DAE in Surveying or Civil Engineering
• Experience in field data collection and site measurements

Driver (PPS-01)

• Literate with valid LTV Driving License
• Relevant driving experience

Security Guard (PPS-01)

• High School qualification preferred
• Experience in security-related field
• Additional certifications (First Aid, Fire Safety, CPR) will be an advantage

Sweeper (PPS-01)

• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols preferred

General Terms & Conditions

• Government employees must apply through proper channel.
• Only HEC-recognized degrees will be accepted.
• Experience will be counted after obtaining the required qualification.
• All positions are project-based; no claim for regularization will be entertained.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
• Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
• Applicants must submit an affidavit of Rs. 50 duly attested by a Notary Public confirming authenticity of documents.
• Original documents must be presented at the time of interview.
